• Water-based lacquer

    pinnpall_hog_rund_lack_dimgron_staende

Lacquer produces a more modern look compared with egg oil tempera, which suits some of our furniture better. Lacquer is also more hardwearing. The surface is semi-matt. Norrgavel’s lacquer has a sheen value of 20.

    Contents & the environment

For a number of years now, lacquer colours have been available that meet stricter environmental criteria, which has meant that Norrgavel is also able to offer lacquered furniture.

The lacquer we use is water-based.

    Paint samples

The colours below can be ordered as paint samples. These make it easy to compare and match shades with the rest of your decor, check the texture and feel and ponder your choice in your own time. This makes for a much more well-founded, thoughtful decision. Sustainable & beautiful!

    Maintenance of lacquered surfaces

We use water-based lacquer. This is an eco-friendly lacquer that produces a hardwearing surface but marks and wear may arise over time – especially on sharp corners and extra vulnerable surfaces. Where necessary, the furniture should be wiped with a moist cloth and a mild, uncoloured cleaning product.

Note! Never use spirits or strong organic solvents for cleaning. “Top-up pots” of lacquer (the actual lacquer colours) can be purchased from our customer services.
